Description
The 3570 Series Cylinder Mortice Locks are suitable for heavy duty use in industrial and commercial buildings, institutions, clubs, schools, hospitals, hotels, and similar buildings. It is made from quality materials to meet high durability and strength requirements.
This lock series has various deadlocking functions operated generally by a key outside and by a turnknob or key inside. It can be locked by key or turnknob when the door is closed.
For all sliding door deadlock functions specify primary lock (3573SC). This lock can then be easily adapted to suit function required.

Brass plates provided for plated finishes available in square and round ends.
60mm standard backset.
Extended backsets 89 and 127mm are available on application.
19mm stainless steel deadbolts.
High-grade corrosion protected steel springs.
Hand-drawn spring steel wire, corrosion protected cylinder retaining pin.
Suits 32mm to 50mm door thickness (locksets for thicker doors are available on application).
Requires a 3mm clearance between the door and the frame to ensure correct dead latching mechanism and security for all locks. (Deadlatching will still operate at 8mm door clearance).
Uses standard Lockwood oval-shaped brass cylinders and brass barrels. Functions require the use of different cams and adaptors.
Available in Chrome Plate CP, Satin Chrome Brushed SC and polished Brass PB.
Security
All 3570 Series Cylinder Mortice Locks conform with Level S2 (Physical Security) Australian Lock Standard (AS-4145.2-1993). Level S3 (Physical Security) is available upon request.

.Fire Rating
Lockwood 3570 Series Mortice Locks have been successfully tested up to 4 hours (depending on type of doorset) on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1905.1- 2005, Part 1: Fire Resistant Doorsets.
